I meant to mention some time ago, kudos to you for aspiring to do this. My husband just ran his first half marathon this past weekend, having made up his mind to do so less than a week before it was held. He had little time to prepare for it, but he did phenomenally well, I think, finishing in the top third, I think it was, in his age division. Granted, he is a Marine, so he runs on a regular basis, but he had never, ever, not once ran that far in one shot. So, if you put your mind to it, and with proper preparation, it can be done. He is now aspiring to do the Marine Corps Marathon in a few months. And is preparing for it now.

Just wanted to say, even with minimal preparation, which I see that you are doing way more than that, it is very possible to be successful at your endeavor, and I wish you the best of luck and good health and strength to finish well.
