In a couple of weeks I'm going to jet off to warm, sunny Minnesota to walk in the Twin Cities Susan G. Komen 3-Day. Carole won't be with me -- she's got to remain behind in Vermont to reticulate splines, work at her new accounting job, maintain the integrity of the National Torbie Infrastructure, and that kind of thing. But, hey, I won't be alone. Not only will I be accompanied on the 3-Day by a veritable ARMY of pink-clad women and men, all walking for the grandest cause of all, the cause of LIFE, I'm gonna be toting along the legendary 3-Day Mug.
Yes, the legendary 3-Day Mug. The Mug of Nutter Butters. The MUG OF DESTINY.

Woot!
Oh, and while I'm at it, I'm still very much interested in raising more funds to fight breast cancer. I've raised enough to take part in three 3-Day walks -- $6,900 was required, and I've raised a bit over $7200. But I'd really like to raise $10,000 -- so, you know, if you can spare $25 or $50 to help fund prevention programs, access to mammography, clinical trials for promising treatments and vaccines, and much, much more, it'd be very much appreciated. You can donate directly to Susan G Komen For The Cure on my behalf at http://www.the3day.org/goto/jayfurr and get a receipt for your taxes instantly. So please help: I thank you. And the Mug thanks you.
