Thanks to lovely, wonderful, generous people out there on Planet Earth, I'm now within shouting distance of the minimum fundraising goal for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day For The Cure. I must raise at least $2,300 to be allowed into the walk; I have raised $1815. Less than $500 to go; I'm 79% of the way to the 'finish line'. Once I get there, I intend to switch all my fundraising efforts over toward helping Carole reach her goal, and then we'll both see how much beyond the minimum we can get to! :)

Since I'm not participating this year, I want to honor those who are. I'll be celebrating my 65th birthday next month donating to several of my 3-Day extended family--not much for each, I'm sorry to say, but I know from experience that every donation is important. I began to notice your posts last year and have been impressed by your commitment to the 3-Day. So my question is, shall I give for you or for Carole, or depending on who has less at the time?

I would prefer you donate to Carole, FWIW. :)

She's just as committed as I am, but she's not as good at juggling her online/real life existences and correspondingly getting on people's radar.

And you're completely correct and spot-on about every dollar counting. I'm also grateful for your very helpful message board posts. Have you thought about becoming one of the volunteer coaches for the event?
