I do! :) I took 2 years in college for my language requirement. I actually wanted to sign up for Mandarin, but the class was full, so I picked Czech.. mainly because the class size was so small (about 7 people) and I knew that I'd get a better language-learning experience in an environment like that. I ended up loving it, though. My only disappointment was that when I finally went to Prague, everyone spoke English.. perfectly. :) It didn't discourage me too much.. I bought a ton of books while there (mostly sci-fi by Czech authors and some Harry Potter) and am still making my way through them.. slowly.. my Czech really has degenerated. I've been wanting to put more time into it, though, and have started studying again.
I have an acquaintance from Prague, Czech Republic, who's nearly always logged in to a particular multi-user dungeon (MUD) that I log in to once every few weeks or so. He's pretty strange, so just to confuse him, I asked him what the Czech words were for "My hovercraft is full of eels".
Damn -- I wish you hadn't said that. I had no idea what it was, but I was about to answer you "My hovercraft is full of eels" just because I say that all the time. It would have added to my air of omniscience if it looked like I understood. :)
MUD in the extremely old-fashioned sense. Purely text based. No monsters. Once upon a time, and in some places still, people would role-play or pretend to be other than they are. Some, however, are purely social and consist of people logging in during their working days and occasionally visiting the window to chew the fat.
