The odd post about caroleotter's shirt yesterday was noteworthy only because a) I was testing the LiveJournal mobile client that lets you take a picture with your mobile phone and then post it to LiveJournal, and b) because she was wearing a Techwick shirt I'd gotten her on sale at Eastern Mountain Sports, a shirt in a color that she instinctively recoils from (orangey red) but that I think looks very good on her.

Carole had felt cooperative yesterday morning when she was getting dressed and randomly said "What shirt should I wear?" So, of course, I said "The magma shirt! The magma shirt!" (I always get that wrong; the 'official' EMS name for that color in their catalog is 'molten lava'. 'Magma' just sounds more colorful to me.) So, for the first time, she wore it.

And, as I'd told her, I spent the day drooling/chasing her around. For some reason she didn't mind. :)

The shirt didn't look so orangey to me & I think Carole's
instincts are pretty good - orange only looks good on 14%
of the population at most - and I think Carole is more
of a Summer or possibly a Spring than an Autumn (I'd have
to drape her to be sure).
