Hey, Look Me Over
Jan. 21st, 2010 06:59 amThe system go-live I'm assisting with this week has gone pretty well. Yesterday my roaming-around-being-helpful-to-the-end-users routine was pretty boring, in fact... the first day of go-live had already identified those people with security or access issues and people were beginning to get used to the new look and feel of their system.
So yay that.
On the other hand, I gotta say, I would really like to get the song "Hey, Look Me Over" out of my head. Hovering as the access management folks ask new and existing patients to review their demographic and insurance data before proceeding to their appointment, I hear the phrase "Look this over" about six hundred times an hour. Hence I keep hearing the phrase "HEY LOOK ME OVER, LEND ME AN EAR" belted out, Ethel Merman-style, in the back of my mind.
I'd really like a less suggestible mind.
