Lunch, Day 1: 2010 DC 3-Day

jayfurrI am at lunch on Day 1 of the 2010 DC 3-Day. We're about to be kicked out of this park because they've held lunch open well past its closing time... and the reason I'm here well past closing time is because a) I deliberately kept a slow pace, b) it's damn hard going fast on the narrow sidewalks of Georgetown, c) we managed to hit EVERY intersection at precisely the time the light was against us. Basically, the whole pack seems to be running behind schedule and all the pits are being kept open late.
It's a sunny, warm, borderline hot day. I feel tired, clearly not having the endurance that I did before my cold. I don't think I'm still sick... just not all the way recovered.
I'll say more later. It's been a good day and I've met a lot of great people, but no time to tell y'all about them now. Gotta go. TTYL.
