My wife and I own an Omron bathroom scale, the kind with teeth^H^H^H^H^Hthe ability to measure body fat, skeletal muscle, visceral fat, etcetera, and apparently do so with a high degree of accuracy.
Thing is, to activate it you have to poke a button on the end with your big toe and wait for it to wake up and flash "CAL" a few times before it resets to 0.00, thereby indicating that it's ready for you to step on. I assume "CAL" is short for "Calibrating", but in any event, every time I get ready to use the damn thing and see "CAL" flashing I can't help thinking "CAL 9 1752".
I blame Tim Pierce.
