Carole and I are going to be raffling off three lovely, cuddly 15" Breast Cancer Awareness Bears from Vermont Teddy Bear in January. All you have to do to be entered in the drawing is donate $50 or more toward either of our fundraising totals for the 2010 Tampa Bay Susan G. Komen 3-Day For The Cure event, a sixty mile, three-day fundraising and awareness-building walk involving around 4,000 women and men.

Each $50 donation gets you one ticket, so donating $100 will get you two tickets, and so on. We'll be recording all donations of $50 or more, making up tickets, and then doing the drawing on January 31 at 6 pm Eastern Standard Time. We'll film it and post the video so you'll know it was all handled fairly. Each person will be eligible to win (at most) one bear -- so if you're the first name drawn from the pot we'll keep drawing tickets until we get a different name for the second bear, and so on. We'll then get the bears shipped out to the lucky winners!

The deadline to donate and be included in the drawing is 5 pm Eastern time on January 31. All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to the Susan G. Komen For The Cure organization, not passing through our hands at all. If you DON'T want to be included in the bear drawing but DO want to donate, please let us know via email at furrs at furrs dot org.
