Re Westboro nuts church: Yes. They're basically a single very wealthy extended family. I think constantly suing people for infringement of their free speech rights may have a lot to do with their funding.

I don't like, any more than most people do, in saying "I disagree with your right to even SAY your opinion."

But I know in the eyes of the law there's a ban against speech likely to cause a breach of the peace. Disturbing the peace, I should say -- I believe "breach of the peace" is the English term and "disturbing the peace" is ours.

But showing up at a 9-year-old girl's funeral and trying to be as disruptive as possible... how is that not "disturbing the peace"? If that isn't, what is?
