After pending corporate matching goes through, I will be about $75 shy of my $2,300 minimum that I have to raise in order to take part in the 2011 Atlanta 3-Day For The Cure. Then I'll move to raising funds for my $2,300 that I have to raise to take part in the 2011 San Francisco 3-Day For The Cure. (Yes, I'm trying to raise $4,600 and walk in two cities.)
This may sound pathetic, but I've had a heck of a week. I've been sick with a awful, bad, nasty cold and ... I'll spare you the unpleasant details. Getting that lovely email from the 3-Day folks saying that I've received a donation would really, really cheer me up. Anyone want to help a guy out? :)
My Atlanta 3-Day fundraising page is http://www.the3day.org/goto/jayfurr -- it'll show a bit less than $2,300, but that's solely due to pending corporate matching. Effectively, $75 would put me over the top.
I thank y'all in advance for helping cheer me up and, more importantly, helping in the fight against breast cancer.
